Synopsis
The Last Sweep
Their curling team was born a year ago, in a freezing warehouse above Cortina, and it counts four people in total. Two of them share an apartment and a secret nobody has the courage to say out loud.
Francesco counts everything so he doesn’t have to think. Then he steps off a bus in Cortina and finds a guy waiting for him with a ridiculous sign and hands that are always warm.
Stefano never stops talking, and he’s the only noise that doesn’t bother Francesco. But there are four of them in the whole of Italy: if he feels something and Francesco feels nothing, there’s no other locker room to go to.
The Last Sweep is the story of how it all began, for two people who had nothing in the world to share but the ice.
